Is there a cost to use FluentDoc?
Our goal is to keep FluentDoc free forever for most users. We’re committed to providing a robust and accessible platform for language creation at no cost. However, developing new features and maintaining the platform does come with expenses. To support these efforts, we may offer optional paid features in the future.
For example, paid features could include collaboration tools for conlangers who partner with authors, film studios, or creative groups, or the ability to host your language on a FluentDoc domain (your very own website for your conlang!). These would come with a small fee to support the platform, while still ensuring the core FluentDoc experience remains free for everyone.
How does FluentDoc help with worldbuilding?
FluentDoc supports worldbuilding by providing tools that seamlessly integrate your language creation with cultural and storytelling elements. You can develop rich backstories, create naming conventions, and tie your language to the customs, history, and geography of your fictional world—all within one platform. Whether you’re building a universe for a novel, game, or personal project, FluentDoc helps bring your vision to life.
How does FluentDoc handle my data?
FluentDoc takes your privacy and data security very seriously. We only collect essential information, such as your email address, to create your account and provide access to the platform. While FluentDoc currently does not have tutorials, we plan to add them in the future to help users get started and make the most of the platform’s features. In the meantime, our platform is designed to be intuitive and we have a ton of resources in the app.
